When it comes to bases, Bourjois have been top of high street foundation game for a while now. First came my love for the much raved about original Healthy Mix, then I fell in love with their hidden gem '123 Perfect' and more recently with the launch of their Happy Light line Bourjois have continued to bring it with their bases.
The pièce de résistance however is their 'Healthy Mix Serum'. It's astounding that this stuff only costs £11.99 because if I didn't know otherwise, I'd have thought it was a high end foundation.
It seamlessly buffs into the skin, giving just the perfect amount of coverage (light/medium) whilst still leaving the skin with an incredible glow. I have combination/oily skin and in warmer months can find the original Healthy Mix a bit too dewy. The serum however manages to look and feel incredible on my skin be it sunny or snowy outside.
I find I barely need to touch up at all with this foundation as it wears so well throughout the day. It's gel-like consistency means it doesn't cling to dry patches and melts into the skin leaving you with an incredibly natural finish
Because of the gel-like texture it'd be perfect for people with drier skin, but if you're on the oilier side of proceedings don't disregard it because it still works incredibly well for me.
The 'Healthy Mix Serum' is priced at £11.99 and currently part of the Boots and Superdrug 342 promotion so why not try it whilst it's on offer!

ReplyDeleteFab isn't it! I love Colorstay too, if i'm having a bad skin day I tend to use Healthy Mix Serum all over and then Colorstay where I need a tad more coverage :) x
DeleteOoooh I'm very intrigued by this, but still a little scared since my skin is most definitely on the oily side of the spectrum!

Ah like I said I have combo/oily skin and find it works well for me. If you don't mind using a powder to set i'm sure you'll be fine :) x
