Sunday Skincare - Discovering Salcura

During a stressful few months at University my skin hasn't been looking it's best recently, so when Salcura offered to let me try their 'Antiac Acne Skincare' range I was more than happy to give them a whirl.

Salcura products are cruelty free and packed with naturally active ingredients such as Sea Buckthorn, Manuka Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Tea Tree and Rosemary Oil and unlike many other acne treatments they contain no Parabens, Steroids, Peroxides, Cortisones or Lanolin.

Ingredients aside, I really enjoyed the range, especially the 'Daily Face Wash'* and the 'Face Hydrator'* from their regular line both of which I really feel helped improve my skin when it wasn't looking or feeling at it's best!
The face wash has a fresh scent and it's gel like consistency feels calming on the skin. When in contact with water it creates a mild foams which gives a thorough deep clean without leaving it feeling stripped or tight like a lot of other face washes targeted at troublesome skin have a tendency to do.
The moisturiser is gentle on the skin and didn't aggravate it during flare ups, whilst still providing the skin with thorough hydration. I also found it to be a great base for make-up!

Other items in the range include the 'Liquid Spray' which is great if you suffer from acne on areas such as the back or arms, a 'Gel Serum' which is great for targeting stubborn spots and the 'Face Wipes' for clear skin on-the-go.
